Cuthbert began her career as the co-host of the Canadian children's television series Popular Mechanics for Kids (1997–2000) and is best known for her role as Kim Bauer on the FOX action-thriller series 24 (2001–2010). Her films include Airspeed (1998), Love Actually (2003), Old School (2003), The Girl Next Door (2004), House of Wax (2005) and Captivity (2007).
